The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray checks a leg kick nicely.
Lewis misses with a takedown attempt - Murray sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Murray sizes up Lewis with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Carlos Murray hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Lewis throws a combination. Murray tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Lewis fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lewis shoots in for a takedown but Murray shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Murray might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
