Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Drake showed some decent athleticism there.
Sterrey regains full guard. Nicely done.

Sterrey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Drake gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sterrey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Drake's guard.
Sterrey is pushing down on Drake's leg trying to pass to half guard. Drake is fighting to maintain full guard but Sterrey has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sterrey is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Drake doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sterrey.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sterrey's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

A close round but Dominic Sterrey will probably get the nod.

Drake drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Sterrey tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Drake postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Sterrey keeping moving, preventing Drake from controlling successfully.
Sterrey is looking to sinch up a triangle. Drake throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sterrey's body to avoid the submission. Sterrey has instead reached around Drake's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sterrey arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
