The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Souza.
Robinson blocks a low kick nicely.
Robinson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Robinson clinches up against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Souza.
Souza fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Souza doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Souza throws an elbow that misses.
Robinson blocking some punches.
A nice left hand lands by Robinson.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Souza throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Robinsons head.
Robinson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Souza doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Souza lands a left hand that snaps the head of Robinson backwards.
Souza misses with the head strike.
Robinson wants a takedown.

Souza throws a punch but it's blocked by Robinson.

Robinson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Souza pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Robinson goes for a takedown attempt but Souza pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Souza shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Robinson's guard.
Robinson wants to sweep but no luck.
Souza is stalling in the full guard.

Robinson controls Souza momentarily but Souza frees himself.
Souza must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Robinson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Souza can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Souza prevents Robinson from getting back to his feet.
Souza controls from within his opponent's guard.

Robinson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Souza has a takedown stuffed.

Robinson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Souza wants to sweep but no luck.
Robinson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Robinson is looking to work some ground and pound but Souza has wrist control.

Robinson drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Robinson as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Souza screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Robinson! Nice submission victory there!
