Hawk kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is silver hawk. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hawk wants it to stay on the feet.
Sure shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hawk as he avoids it easily.
Hawk tries for a takedown but Sure sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sure throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Hawk shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Sure is refusing to be controlled, as Hawk sits in half guard.

Hawk is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Sure is looking for a sweep. Hawk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hawk is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Sure is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
