Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ah Puch Nacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nacon comes to the cage accompanied by Death. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nacon looks to throw the jab but West is out of range.
West connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Nacon's hands.
Nacon misses with a looping left.
Nacon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
West misses with a low kick.
Nacon misses with a lunging right hand
and West counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
West slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
West throws a series of punches but Nacon moves out of range.
West misses the jab.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
West throws a leg kick but Nacon sees it coming and moves out of range.

Nacon fails with a takedown attempt.
A telegraphed right hand from West misses the target.

and Nacon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Randy West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
West throws a low kick but Nacon moves out of range easily.

West gets caught napping as Nacon dives in and scores a takedown. West manages to retain guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Nacon throws a strike but West rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Nacon isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. West stacks Nacon on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by West!

and West counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nacon's knee momentarily.
Nacon avoids a kick to the body.
Nacon takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Randy West seems to be getting the better of the standup.
West throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Nacon moves out of range of the strikes.
West scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nacon doesn't seem bothered though.
West scores with the left hand. Nacon knows he should have avoided that one.
Nacon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Nacon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. West sprawls well initially but Nacon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nacon is keen to just control but West is a slippery customer.
West has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nacon is working away from the top position though.

West is positioning himself well to prevent Nacon advancing to mount.
West really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nacon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
West throws a hook but Nacon avoids it easily.
Nacon shoots in but no luck this time.

Nacon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around West's waist but West gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nacon off to one side.
Nacon is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
