Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Kiedis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Worner!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kiedis moves into the clinch.
Kiedis comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Kiedis lands a nice knee to the body.

Kiedis pulls guard effortlessly.

Kiedis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Worner defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kiedis wriggles free and stands up.
Worner looks to clinch
and Kiedis counters with a nice leg kick.

Worner gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kiedis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Worner's head.

Kiedis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kiedis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kiedis passes Worner's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Kiedis wants to work for an arm triangle but Worner is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Kiedis decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Worner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kiedis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kiedis is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Worner's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kiedis has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Worner. Oh but Kiedis has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Worner goes limp - he's gone! Kiedis jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
