Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Allen Iverson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iverson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Champ-nelly. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chael Sonnen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iverson moves in looking to clinch but Sonnen pushes him off.
Sonnen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Iverson to the mat! Iverson manages to get full guard.
Sonnen pushes down on Iverson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Still in half guard, Sonnen seems content to control.
Sonnen missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Sonnen prevents Iverson from standing back up.
Sonnen wants to take a breather but Iverson is having none of it.
Sonnen seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Sonnen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Iverson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Chael Sonnen has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
