Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Margus Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sultan Alkhanov!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hunt, as that shot connected.
Hunt misses with a right hand
and Alkhanov holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hunt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Alkhanov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hunt tries to bum rush Alkhanov with a series of wild strikes but Alkhanov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Alkhanov gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A head kick misses from Alkhanov.
Alkhanov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Oooooh!!! Hunt has knocked Alkhanov down with a huge combo! Hunt steps away and waves a wobbly Alkhanov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Sultan Alkhanov has been cut.
Margus Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hunt drops Alkhanov with a naaaaasty hook - Alkhanov is in real trouble here! Hunt dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
