Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Filip Cro Cop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Breaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Filip Cro Cop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Benjamin Breaker!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breaker listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.


It looks like Filip Cro Cop has been cut.
Breaker lands a nice shot to the body.
Breaker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cro Cop is defended easily by Breaker.
Cro Cop needs to keep his hands up - Breaker had a free shot at his head there.
Breaker dodges the punch combination from Cro Cop.
Horrible takedown by Cro Cop or perhaps it was just good defense by Breaker which made him look bad.
Breaker lands a nice shot to the body.
Breaker cracks Cro Cop with a right hand to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cro Cop closes this distance looking for a takedown but Breaker circles away.

Cro Cop takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Breaker works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Cro Cop is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

so Breaker counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Breaker is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Oh Cro Cop is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Breaker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Cro Cop seems to have got his legs back now.
Breaker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Breaker is looking to work some ground and pound but Cro Cop has wrist control.
Breaker is working Cro Cop over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Breaker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cro Cop could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Breaker controlling from the top position.
Breaker wants to stand but Cro Cop has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Breaker wants to control from the top but Cro Cop keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Benjamin Breaker hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Cro Cop tries to sprawl but Breaker drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Breaker trying to control the pace.
Breaker tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cro Cop knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Breaker tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Cro Cop.
Breaker looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Breaker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Breaker trying to work for an americana but Cro Cop has managed to regain full guard.
Breaker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cro Cop is keeping the position for now.
Breaker lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Breaker stays in close to Cro Cop's body and controls the position.
Breaker with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Breaker wants to control from the top but Cro Cop keeps moving.
Breaker with a flurry of punches that miss.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Benjamin Breaker was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Breaker lands a nice shot to the body.
Breaker is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Breaker throws a nice looking combination but Cro Cop bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Benjamin Breaker dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Filip Cro Cop's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Cro Cop on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Filip Cro Cop is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cro Cop shoots for a double leg takedown but Breaker sprawls well. He's pushed Cro Cop's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Benjamin Breaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cro Cop fails with the takedown.
Cro Cop tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Breaker paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Breaker throws a sloppy head kick
and Cro Cop counters with a left to the body.
Cro Cop has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cro Cop there as he acknowledges the shot.
Cro Cop moves in looking to clinch but Breaker pushes him off.
Cro Cop tries to clinch but Breaker moves out of range.
Nice shot lands for Breaker.
Breaker lands with a good body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Breaker throws a head kick that misses.
Breaker throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Breaker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cro Cop. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Breaker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cro Cop circles away quickly and effectively.
Breaker has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
A decent looking cross lands there for Breaker.
Breaker connects with a single shot there.
Breaker swinging wildly here.
Breaker scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Breaker tries a low kick but Cro Cop avoids it.
Benjamin Breaker seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Cro Cop tries to score a power double leg takedown but Breaker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cro Cop somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Filip Cro Cop. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Breaker lands a jab to Cro Cop's midsection.
Breaker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Breaker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cro Cop stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Breaker is stalling in the full guard.
Breaker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Breaker lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Breaker engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Breaker wants to control from the top but Cro Cop keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Benjamin Breaker wasn't active enough on the ground.
A looping hook to the body misses from Breaker. Cro Cop does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cro Cop takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Breaker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cro Cop sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Breaker somewhat.
Cro Cop misses with a series of wild punches.
Breaker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cro Cop.
Breaker cracks Cro Cop with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Breaker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Breaker controls the position.
Cro Cop takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Breaker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cro Cop keeps working.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Breaker stands up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Breaker tries to close the distance and clinch but Cro Cop swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Benjamin Breaker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

and Breaker counters with a series of strikes. Cro Cop will be more careful next time no doubt.

Breaker's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cro Cop under the eye.
Cro Cop displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Breaker.

and Cro Cop counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Cro Cop is pressed up against the cage. Breaker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cro Cop down to the mat. Cro Cop avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Breaker scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Breaker swinging wildly here.
Breaker pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Cro Cop back to the cage. Breaker follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Cro Cop steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Breaker.
Breaker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Breaker just misses with a punch to the body.
Cro Cop fails with the takedown.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Breaker tries to clinch but Cro Cop moves out of range.

Breaker scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Cro Cop dives in and grabs Breaker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Breaker pushes down on Cro Cop's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Filip Cro Cop. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice shot by Breaker.
Breaker lunges at Cro Cop with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cro Cop's hand.
Breaker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Breaker wants it to stay on the feet.
Cro Cop moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Breaker lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cro Cop at a distance.
Cro Cop takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Breaker scores with a decent looking hook.
Cro Cop walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Cro Cop scoring well with a low kick there.
Breaker uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Breaker feints and as Cro Cop raises his hands in defense, Breaker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cro Cop looking for a guillotine here but Breaker defends easily.
Cro Cop is looking to stand up but Breaker isn't so interested in that idea.
Breaker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Cro Cop has his foot on Breaker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Breaker works his way back into a safe position though.

Cro Cop looking for a sweep. Not yet Cro Cop, not yet.
Cro Cop might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cro Cop controls Breaker momentarily but Breaker frees himself.
Breaker is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Breaker scoring with punches to the head and body.
Breaker sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Breaker drops back looking for a leg! Cro Cop is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cro Cop manages to kick Breaker off! Breaker jumps back into Cro Cop's guard.

Breaker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cro Cop is proving hard to escape from.

Cro Cop working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Breaker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Breaker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Breaker lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Breaker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cro Cop swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Filip Cro Cop has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Benjamin Breaker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Cro Cop is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

And that's the end of the fight!
Benjamin Breaker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Breaker winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
