The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weaver is looking to clinch but Florean is avoiding it.
Florean shoots in but no luck this time.
Weaver gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Florean counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Florean.

Florean has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Weaver is trying to keep an underhook but Florean manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Florean lands a nice short elbow.
Florean lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Weaver tries to get to full guard but Florean has control of the leg.
Florean tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Weaver.

Weaver is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Florean's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Florean's back!
