Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kimmo Kinnunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TAKANORI GOMI (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). GOMI has chosen Iggy Pop - The Passenger as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinnunen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

GOMI pushes Kinnunen up against the cage in a clinch.
Kinnunen goes for a takedown attempt but GOMI pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kinnunen swats away the attempt to clinch by GOMI.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
GOMI prevents the takedown attempt.

GOMI lands an uppercut.

GOMI escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kinnunen misses with a takedown attempt - GOMI sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kinnunen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says GOMI as he avoids it easily.
GOMI throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

It looks like Kimmo Kinnunen has been cut.
Kinnunen is breathing heavily.
Kinnunen takes a shot right to the bread basket.

GOMI closes the distance and clinches.
GOMI lands a left hand.

Kinnunen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kinnunen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kinnunen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but GOMI is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
