Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Knut Grepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Svenne Nyckelben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Knut Grepp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Svenne Nyckelben!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nyckelben throws a jab when Grepp was well out of range.
Nyckelben lands with a straight right. Grepp didn't see that one coming.
Grepp staying out of range there.
Nyckelben throws a big shot that misses.
Nyckelben bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nyckelben misses with an attempted mid kick.
No joy there for Nyckelben, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Grepp shoots for a double leg takedown but Nyckelben sprawls well. He's pushed Grepp's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nyckelben misses with a wild combination.
Nyckelben swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nyckelben is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Grepp's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Grepp's back!

Nyckelben throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Grepp sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Grepp feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Grepp postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nyckelben is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Grepp, into his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Grepp throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Nyckelben escapes and throws Grepp's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That was a close second round but I would say that Knut Grepp will probably get the nod.

Nyckelben lands a really nice looking cross but Grepp seems unphased.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Nyckelben checks a leg kick.
Grepp changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nyckelben tries to avoid it but Grepp manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nyckelben to the ground. Nyckelben escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Svenne Nyckelben seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nyckelben looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nyckelben lands a with a good body shot.

Nyckelben gets caught flat footed, as Grepp shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Nyckelben had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Grepp is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nyckelben Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Grepp's back instead.
Grepp breaks Nyckelben's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Nyckelben trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Grepp drops back, looking for a kneebar! Nyckelben looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Nyckelben looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Nyckelben!

Nyckelben has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Grepp!
Grepp is looking to improve his position but Nyckelben isn't that keen on the idea.

Grepp is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nyckelben is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nyckelben has escaped and now he's on top!

I would just about give that final round to Svenne Nyckelben.
I think Nyckelben has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
