Viktor Kafka is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dakota Royer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Viktor Kafka!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Royer takes a swing at Kafka's ribcage but misses.
Royer connects with a leg kick. Kafka looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Royer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kafka moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Royer lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Royer misses the jab.
A swing and a miss from Kafka.
Royer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Viktor Kafka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kafka motions for Royer to come forward. Kafka throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Royer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Royer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kafka just misses with a punch to the body.
Kafka ducks under a wild hook from Royer.
Royer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kafka moves out of range of the leg kick from Royer.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kafka is looking to score with low kicks.
Royer thumps Kafka with a low kick.
Kafka moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Royer cracks Kafka with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Royer lands a nice shot that snaps Kafka's head back.
Kafka throws the left hand but Royer avoids the punch easily.
That kick from Royer tenderised Kafka's leg. Kafka is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kafka looks winded!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Royer lands a big head kick that sends Kafka tumbling to the mat! Royer takes a step backwards and waves Kafka back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Kafka is rocked!


It looks like Viktor Kafka has been cut.
Royer tries to bum rush Kafka with a series of wild strikes but Kafka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kafka is still on wobbly legs! Can Royer finish him?
Kafka throws a chopping leg kick but Royer manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kafka has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Royer.
Crack! Royer connects with the perfect overhand right and Kafka falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Royer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dakota Royer!
Dakota Royer took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
