Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wadatsumi Shirahoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kapitan Tutan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shirahoshi shoots in for a double leg but Tutan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Shirahoshi clinches up with Tutan and pushes him back against the cage.
Shirahoshi is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tutan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Shirahoshi has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tutan is trying to keep an underhook but Shirahoshi manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Tutan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tutan wants it to stay on the feet.

Tutan closes the distance and clinches.

Tutan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shirahoshi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tutan has managed to get both his arms back between Shirahoshi's legs - danger averted.

Shirahoshi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tutan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Shirahoshi.
Tutan creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Shirahoshi sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Shirahoshi misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
