The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers tries to clinch but Doomsday moves out of range.
Rogers rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rogers takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rogers connects with a single shot there.
Rogers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Doomsday throws a looping overhand right but Rogers ducks down to avoid it.
Doomsday throws a big shot that misses.
Doomsday avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rogers goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Derek Doomsday has been cut.
Derek Doomsday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doomsday misses with a straight left.

Doomsday tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Doomsday misses with a body punch.
Rogers lands a nice uppercut.
Rogers lands a hook to the side of the head.

Doomsday breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rogers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Rogers tries to bum rush Doomsday with a series of wild strikes but Doomsday uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Doomsday shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rogers eats them both and turns towards Doomsday to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Doomsday throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Doomsday ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Rogers's jaw. Rogers's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Doomsday does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
