Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asher Asher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva wants to slow Asher down by chopping away at his legs.
Some bone on bone action there as Silva checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Silva throws a body punch but Asher moves out of range.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Asher. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Rich Silva was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
