Schkayle comes to the cage accompanied by Fast Lane. Maia is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hells Bells. Miko Maia has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Richtor Schkayle's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Schkayle lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Maia has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Maia and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Maia misses with a lunging right hand
and Schkayle counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Maia is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Maia is trying desperately to land a takedown but Schkayle is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Maia.
Maia takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schkayle manages to avoid it.
Schkayle throws out a leg kick but Maia moves out of range and Schkayle only half commits.

Maia tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Schkayle is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

It looks like Miko Maia has been cut.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Maia crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Schkayle - the referee stops the clock and Maia gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Schkayle. Maia manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Schkayle counters with a head kick. That will keep Maia thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Schkayle is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Maia fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Schkayle tries to clinch there but Maia circles away.

Schkayle lands a big head kick that sends Maia tumbling to the mat! Schkayle takes a step backwards and waves Maia back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Schkayle closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Maia! Schkayle dives in looking to finish! Maia is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

A relieved looking Richtor Schkayle thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
