Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Makosi Karolczak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Defer Taite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Makosi Karolczak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Defer Taite!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taite wants to clinch

and Karolczak counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Karolczak engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Karolczak's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Makosi Karolczak.

Taite is trying to hold Karolczak in close to prevent damage but Karolczak has managed to pass into half guard.

Defer Taite showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Taite dips a shoulder and cracks Karolczak with a mighty uppercut! Karolczak falls back against the cage and Taite unloads with a barrage of strikes! Karolczak is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Taite screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
