Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kobe Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryant kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger moves out of range of the body kick from Bryant.
Bryant tries to clinch up but Kruger circles away and keeps his distance.
Bryant throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Kruger counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Kruger wants to control from the top but Bryant keeps moving.
Kruger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bryant. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kruger scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Kruger is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Kruger works over Bryant with some ground and pound from guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kruger chips away with some ground and pound.
Kruger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bryant swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kruger is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bryant has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kruger is looking to defend but Bryant has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kruger! Bryant pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kruger taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kobe Bryant!
