The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nabuco tries to clinch but Meadows moves out of range.
Meadows throws a series of punches but Nabuco moves out of range.
Nabuco dodges the punch combination from Meadows.
Nabuco steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Meadows.
Nabuco closes this distance looking for a takedown but Meadows circles away.
Nabuco shoots in for a double leg but Meadows sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nabuco tries to close the distance and clinch up but Meadows swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nabuco fails with a takedown attempt.
Jeremy Meadows has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Nabuco.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nabuco shoots for a double leg takedown but Meadows sprawls well. He's pushed Nabuco's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nabuco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Meadows as he jumps to the side.

Meadows walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A choreographed right hand from Nabuco misses the target.
Meadows lands with a right and another and another! Nabuco is in big trouble! Meadows lands again and this time it's lights out for Nabuco! A quality knockout there for Meadows.
