Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Yusof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Link Nugg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nugg gets the takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Yusof wants to control but Nugg postures up.
Nugg lands a nice forearm strike.
Nugg creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Yusof tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nugg wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Yusof pushes Nugg away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Nugg gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Nugg in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nugg scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Yusof is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Nugg can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
