Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xan Xinners (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milojko Pantic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pantic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Xinners swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Xinners throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pantic's waist but Pantic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Xinners off to one side.

Pantic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Xinners tries to avoid it but Pantic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Xinners to the ground. Xinners escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Xinners could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pantic has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Xinners is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Horrible takedown by Xinners or perhaps it was just good defense by Pantic which made him look bad.
No joy there for Pantic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Pantic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Milojko Pantic.
Pantic will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Xan Xinners.
