McMufty has chosen Hair Of The Dog as his entrance music. Escudero has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. carlos Escudero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escudero throws a head kick but McMufty moves out of range.
Escudero looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
McMufty fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Escudero manages to avoid it.
McMufty thows a left - swing and a miss!
McMufty throws a left that rocks Escudero and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! McMufty dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Escudero regain composure!

Escudero is rocked!

It looks like carlos Escudero has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McMufty controlling from side mount.
Oh Escudero is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

McMufty tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Escudero seems to have got his legs back now.
McMufty passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Escudero !

BOOM! McMufty connects with a massive shot to the dome!

McMufty throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

and McMufty counters with a nice double leg into guard.

McMufty stands up from Escudero 's guard - McMufty perhaps looking for a knockout.

McMufty throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
McMufty throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Escudero lands a head kick. McMufty smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Escudero slips under a jab from McMufty.
McMufty feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Escudero sprawling to the canvas! Escudero rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McMufty finish him?!
McMufty misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Escudero .
McMufty swings for the body but Escudero moves out of range.
Escudero throws a head kick but McMufty moves out of range.

No luck for Escudero with that takedown attempt.

McMufty looks to land a right hand but Escudero moved out of range.

McMufty tests Escudero 's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McMufty tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McMufty throws a hook but Escudero avoids it easily.
Escudero with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McMufty to score with a decent uppercut.
McMufty throws a sloppy head kick and Escudero moves out of range easily.
Escudero doesn't succeed with the takedown
and McMufty counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Escudero has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
