The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez misses with a low kick.
Pisa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Blu Pisa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pisa tries to keep at a distance but Perez has taken the fight into the clinch.
Perez has a couple of punches blocked by Pisa.
Perez can't break the clinch.
Perez has Pisa pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Pisa manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Perez is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pisa to keep the fight standing.
Perez throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Pisa is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Perez lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Perez is trying to pull guard but Pisa has him pressed against the cage.
Blu Pisa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Domingo Perez.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Pisa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - Perez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
