Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iliek Boubeez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Boubeez's choice of entrance music: 99 Words for boobs. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharitonov tries to clinch up but Boubeez circles away and keeps his distance.
Boubeez throws a hook but Kharitonov avoids it easily.
Kharitonov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Boubeez sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Boubeez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Boubeez showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Boubeez is controlling the pace.

Iliek Boubeez has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Boubeez looks to score with a jab to the body but Kharitonov is just out of range.
Kharitonov connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kharitonov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Boubeez counter with a right hand.

Kharitonov closes the distance and clinches.
Kharitonov misses with the head strike.
A short body shot lands from Boubeez as the two fighters clinch.

Boubeez stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Kharitonov swings away with an uppercut that misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boubeez blocking some punches.

Boubeez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kharitonov throws a lazy right hand but Boubeez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Boubeez throws an off balance right hand
and Kharitonov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boubeez jabs at Kharitonov's body.
Kharitonov missing with a left hand there. Boubeez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Boubeez moves out of range of the strikes.
Kharitonov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Boubeez. Kharitonov does a little dance to reset his feet.

Boubeez misses with a wild combination.

Boubeez lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Kharitonov sprawling to the canvas. Boubeez follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Kharitonov hang on?

It looks like Boris Kharitonov has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boubeez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Boubeez wants to control but Kharitonov is keeping him busy.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Iliek Boubeez wasn't active enough on the ground.
Kharitonov is looking to clinch but Boubeez is avoiding it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Boubeez! Kharitonov is out on his feet! Boubeez rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Kharitonov is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Kharitonov is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

After the fight, Iliek Boubeez was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
