Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenzo Uzukashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flew Flu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenzo Uzukashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Flew Flu!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Uzukashi.
Flu circles away from the clinch attempt.

Flu has taken the fight to the clinch.
Uzukashi looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Uzukashi could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Uzukashi is trying to force a seperation but Flu has the dominant position.
Flu blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Uzukashi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Flu just stands there and leans against the cage.
Uzukashi is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Flu to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenzo Uzukashi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Flu tightens his grip and picks Uzukashi up, before dumping him to the ground. Uzukashi manages to land in guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Flu slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Flu's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Flu forces his way into half guard.

Flu controlling the action here.
Flu tries to pass to full mount but Uzukashi defends it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Flew Flu wasn't active enough on the ground.
Uzukashi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Uzukashi is breathing heavily.
Uzukashi misses with a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Uzukashi doesn't succeed with the takedown

so Flu counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Flu stands up and waves to Uzukashi to follow him.

Flu shoots in and bounces Uzukashi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Flu is working Uzukashi over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Flu slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like Flu might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Flew Flu wasn't active enough on the ground.

Flu instigates a clinch.
Flu effectively controlling the action here.

Flu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Flu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Uzukashi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Flu controls the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Uzukashi looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Flu passes into side control.
Uzukashi being controlled for a moment.
Flu lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Flu just content to control the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Flew Flu dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Flu forces Uzukashi back against the cage and clinches.

Flu has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Uzukashi uses from the top position.
Uzukashi trying to control but Flu is working from the bottom.

Flu is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Flu has hold of one of Uzukashi's legs. Uzukashi is fighting the takedown attempt but Flu gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Flu passes Uzukashi's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Flu stands up from half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Flu scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Uzukashi taking a bit of punishment here - Flu scoring with strikes.

Flu decides to stand back up.
Uzukashi shoots and misses
letting Flu counter with a right hand.

Flu is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Uzukashi's half guard.
Flu not doing much here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Flew Flu has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Uzukashi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Flu darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Uzukashi is in trouble now - Flu has advanced to mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Flu get's back to his feet.
Flu tries to score with a low kick but Uzukashi moves his leg out of the way.

Flu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Flu lands in his opponent's guard.
Flu pushes down on Uzukashi's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Still in half guard, Flu seems content to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Flu seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Uzukashi is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Flew Flu!
