The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyatt connects with a body shot.
Pearson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hyatt counters with a straight right hand.

Pearson moves into the clinch successfully.
Pearson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hyatt pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hyatt lands with a good body shot.
Pearson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hyatt counters with a right hand to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ethan Pearson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hyatt connects with a nice looking jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hyatt lands with an overhand left.

Pearson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hyatt counters with a straight right hand.

Hyatt with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Pearson is breathing heavily.

Hyatt drops Pearson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pearson looks back up at him and smiles so Hyatt waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Pearson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pearson misses with a hook to the body
and Hyatt makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hyatt throws an uppercut from hell that sends Pearson clean off his feet! He's out cold! Hyatt stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
