Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Klein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Ovaltrades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Klein might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mortal Kombat. Mickey Klein has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Ovaltrades!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ovaltrades drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Ovaltrades drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Klein dives on top into guard.
Ovaltrades wants to sweep but no luck.
Ovaltrades pulls Klein in close to his closed guard and prevents Klein from doing any damage or advancing position.
Klein wanted to stand there but Ovaltrades had control of the position.

Ovaltrades looking for a guillotine here but Klein defends easily.

Ovaltrades has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Klein is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ovaltrades.

Klein wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ovaltrades keeps working.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ovaltrades can't escape the position.
Ovaltrades sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Ovaltrades manages to get to full guard.
Klein wants to stand and escape but instead Ovaltrades has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Ovaltrades tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Klein counters by moving into the clinch.
Ovaltrades is trying to pull guard but Klein turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Ovaltrades jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Klein walks away with a smile on his face. Ovaltrades gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ovaltrades tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Klein just stands there and leans against the cage.

Klein's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Klein doesn't manage to clinch there - Ovaltrades circles away.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Klein, as that shot connected.
Klein clobbers Ovaltrades with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Klein throws a sloppy head kick and Ovaltrades moves out of range easily.
Jack Ovaltrades seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Klein misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ovaltrades fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Klein defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ovaltrades.
Ovaltrades shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Klein defends it nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ovaltrades has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Klein is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ovaltrades tightens his grip and picks Klein up, before dumping him to the ground. Klein manages to land in guard.

Klein feints and then cracks Ovaltrades's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ovaltrades down.

After the fight, Mickey Klein was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
