Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ali Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Tilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tilly has chosen My Way-Limb Bizkit as his entrance music. Ali Carter has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ali Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew Tilly!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter lands a high kick!
Carter lands with a slapping head kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nice sprawl there from Carter as Tilly shoots in.
Carter is looking to clinch but Tilly is avoiding it.

Tilly decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Tilly decides to return to a standing position.

Tilly closes the distance and clinches.
Carter wants to break the clinch but can't.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tilly's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Carter throws a head kick that Tilly semi-blocks.

Carter gets caught flat footed, as Tilly shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Carter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tilly on the ground.

Tilly thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Tilly throws a big elbow that misses.
Tilly content to stall in guard here.

Carter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Tilly gets to his feet. Carter looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Carter throws a head kick that misses.
Carter throws a leg kick but Tilly moved away.

Tilly dives in and scores a takedown into Carter's guard.
Tilly is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Tilly looking to pass the guard.

Tilly is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tilly slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Tilly passes Carter's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Tilly slows the pace down in half guard.
Tilly trying to pass the guard but Carter defending well.

Tilly not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Carter tries to kick Tilly off but Tilly keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Tilly seems to be looking for submissions.
Carter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tilly is taking a breather. Carter says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Carter avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tilly.

Carter has hold of Tilly's hands but Tilly slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Tilly is working for a kimura but Carter is defending it quite comfortably.
Tilly wants to take a breather but Carter is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tilly wants to free his trapped foot but Carter is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tilly is trying to control. Carter wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tilly closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tilly lands in his opponent's guard.
Tilly looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Tilly stands and throws Carter's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Tilly misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Tilly is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Tilly in side control, throwing shots but Carter defends.
An elbow from Tilly crashes against the mat.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Carter is pushing Tilly's head away, looking to escape. Tilly manages to hold on to the position though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tilly wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carter keeps working.
Tilly happy to just control the position for now.

Tilly has an Americana. Carter didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tilly is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tilly hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A relieved looking Andrew Tilly thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
