The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Kjellstrom.
Kjellstrom cracks Salonica with an uppercut from hell and Salonica crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Kjellstrom's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Salonica is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Kjellstrom thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Salonica is still in real trouble! Can Kjellstrom finish him?

Kjellstrom has gone for a leg lock! Salonica slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kjellstrom's guard.

Salonica seems to have recovered his senses.

Kjellstrom had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Salonica is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kjellstrom Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Salonica's back instead.

Salonica really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kjellstrom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Salonica turns into Kjellstrom and is now in his guard.

Kjellstrom is looking for a triangle but Salonica pushes his legs off easily.
Salonica must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kjellstrom has his foot on Salonica's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Salonica works his way back into a safe position though.
