Doerner has chosen Balls to the Wall by Accept as his entrance music. Helmut Doerner is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Barrowman creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Doerner throws a head punch that misses.
Barrowman lands an elbow that stopped Doerner in his tracks for a moment.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Barrowman just misses with a elbow thrown towards Doerner's brow.

Doerner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barrowman tries to avoid it but Doerner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barrowman to the ground. Barrowman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Doerner wants the takedown. Barrowman is fighting it off but Doerner persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Barrowman's guard against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Doerner takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Barrowman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Doerner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Barrowman's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Barrowman duly obliges.

Doerner gets tackled into the cage by Barrowman. Barrowman maintains the clinch.
Doerner is still on wobbly legs! Can Barrowman finish him?
Doerner drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Barrowman connects with a knee to the head.
Barrowman jerks Doerner's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Doerner drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Barrowman goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Barrowman because Doerner was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

After the fight, Wallace Barrowman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
