Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dong Hyun Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dong Hyun Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Emelianenko!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a takedown attempt

and Emelianenko counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Emelianenko.

Emelianenko manages to break the clinch.

Lee tries to keep at a distance but Emelianenko has taken the fight into the clinch.

Emelianenko works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Emelianenko stands up and beckons Lee to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lee is defended easily by Emelianenko.

Emelianenko fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lee to the ground. Emelianenko is now in Lee's guard.

Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Emelianenko was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee.

Lee tries to clinch but Emelianenko is having none of it.
Lee shoots in but Emelianenko avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Emelianenko lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Lee wants to get back to striking at distance but Emelianenko won't allow it.

Emelianenko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lee tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Emelianenko feints and as Lee raises his hands in defense, Emelianenko changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lee fails with the takedown.

Lee is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Emelianenko to keep the fight standing.
Lee is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Emelianenko is defending well.

Emelianenko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Emelianenko moves out of range easily.

Emelianenko rushes Lee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Emelianenko lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Lee.

Emelianenko is refusing to be controlled, as Lee sits in half guard.
Lee tries to stand but can't do so whilst Emelianenko controls his leg.

Ivan Emelianenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ivan Emelianenko hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Emelianenko shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lee's guard.

Emelianenko takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee struggling a bit here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Emelianenko is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Dong Hyun Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ivan Emelianenko is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Lee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Emelianenko works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
