Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Vicente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Kwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kwan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kwan showed some decent athleticism there.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kwan wants to free his trapped foot but Vicente is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Vicente is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

You can see the frustration on Vicente's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Kwan has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Vicente's body.
Vicente might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kwan is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Vicente defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Vicente is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kwan jumps into side control!

Kwan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Vicente tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Kwan presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vicente is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kwan pulls his head out easily.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Vicente slips a straight right by Kwan.
Kwan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vicente.
Vicente looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Vicente gets caught flat footed, as Kwan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Vicente is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kwan defends well.
Kwan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Kwan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vicente has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kwan has managed to get both his arms back between Vicente's legs - danger averted.

Vicente could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kwan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vicente keeps working.
Vicente slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Ray Kwan has got the better of the ground game so far.

Vicente has his foot on Kwan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kwan works his way back into a safe position though.
Kwan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Kwan wants to control from the top but Vicente keeps moving.

Vicente is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kwan throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Vicente's body to avoid the submission. Vicente has instead reached around Kwan's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Vicente arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
