Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Stinker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mick Penn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Stinker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mick Penn!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn tests Stinker's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Stinker takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Stinker takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Penn closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Penn lands in his opponent's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Penn passes easily into side control. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stinker can't do much from the bottom here.
Penn grinds an elbow into Stinker's temple.
Stinker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Stinker tries to buck Penn off but Penn is having none of it.
Stinker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Penn on the ground.
Penn in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Stinker tries to bench press Penn off him but Penn keeps the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Penn has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Stinker is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Penn yanks on the arm and Stinker is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Penn.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mick Penn!
Mick Penn gave a mention to Revolution Fatigues in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
