Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anatoliy Lapikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Stefaniak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lapikov comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Hells Bells . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anatoliy Lapikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Karl Stefaniak!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapikov misses with a body shot.
Stefaniak throws a jab but it's blocked by Lapikov.
Lapikov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stefaniak circles away.
The fighters circling - Lapikov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lapikov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lapikov looks to land a combination but Stefaniak avoids it well.
Anatoliy Lapikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Stefaniak makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Lapikov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stefaniak moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lapikov tries to bum rush Stefaniak with a series of wild strikes but Stefaniak uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lapikov is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Stefaniak throws a right hand that Lapikov ducks under and follows up with a left that Lapikov also avoids with ease.
Lapikov tries for a takedown but Stefaniak sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lapikov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Stefaniak counters with a one-two to the body.

Stefaniak steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lapikov.
Lapikov throws a series of punches but Stefaniak avoids them all with ease.
Lapikov lands a right hook to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stefaniak with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lapikov to score with a decent uppercut.
Stefaniak throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lapikov misses with a left hand
and Stefaniak cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Anatoliy Lapikov will probably get the nod.

Lapikov lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stefaniak backs up against the cage.

Lapikov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stefaniak tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lapikov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stefaniak comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Lapikov stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Stefaniak is on him like rabid pit bull! Lapikov slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Karl Stefaniak!
A relieved looking Karl Stefaniak thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
