Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Meeoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jet Leet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meeoff comes to the cage accompanied by bawitaba. Leet has chosen hhhhh as his entrance music. Jack Meeoff could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jet Leet's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 21 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jack Meeoff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jet Leet!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meeoff just misses with a punch to the body.
Leet ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Meeoff moves away.
Meeoff fails to land with a series of punches.

Leet gets caught napping as Meeoff dives in and scores a takedown. Leet manages to retain guard.
Leet has his hands on Meeoff's head, controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Meeoff throws a strike but Leet rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Leet loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Meeoff looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Meeoff has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Leet is proving hard to escape from.

Meeoff stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Meeoff wants it to stay on the feet.
Leet lands a body shot.

Leet drives through and clinches with Meeoff against the cage.
Meeoff is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Leet gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Leet misses with a body punch.
Leet works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Leet on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Meeoff tries to pull guard but Leet forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Leet lands a hook that snaps the head of Meeoff backwards.

Meeoff shoots in for a takedown but Leet shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Leet's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Leet looks to score with a jab to the body but Meeoff is just out of range.

Leet throws an overhand right that lands on Meeoff's shoulder, as Meeoff tries to avoid the shot.
Meeoff avoids the body shot from Leet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Meeoff steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Leet.
Meeoff rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Leet moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Meeoff looks to land a combination but Leet avoids it well.
Leet keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Meeoff drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Meeoff jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Meeoff lands with a kick to the temple. Leet shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

This has been an exciting period of action!
Meeoff has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Leet avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Meeoff is trying to push Leet away but Leet has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Leet tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Leet lands with a light punch inside.

Meeoff ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Meeoff no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Leet looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Meeoff with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Meeoff wants to improve his position but Leet is controlling well.
Meeoff is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Leet's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Leet's back!

Leet trying to control the position but instead, Meeoff has worked for underhooks and has pushed Leet into the cage.
Meeoff utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Leet tries to circle away but Meeoff has him pinned against the cage.

Leet manages to break the clinch.

Leet moves into the clinch successfully.
Leet makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Meeoff pulls Leet into guard.
Leet trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Leet stays in close to Meeoff's body and controls the position.

Meeoff had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Leet defends it easily.
Meeoff is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Leet is controlling him.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jet Leet hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Meeoff tries to keep at a distance but Leet has taken the fight into the clinch.

Meeoff moves in looking to clinch but Leet pushes him off.
Meeoff closes this distance looking for a takedown but Leet circles away.
Leet throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Meeoff's waist but Meeoff gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Leet off to one side.
Leet fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Meeoff.
Meeoff uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Leet has time to react.

Leet throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Leet is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Meeoff rather than just go for the knockout.

and Leet cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Meeoff shoots in and drives through. Leet sprawls well.

Meeoff fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Leet avoids it really well and circles away.

Jet Leet is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Meeoff takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Well Leet has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
