Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drens gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jonson.
Drens looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jonson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Jonson gets a clinch.

Jonson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jonson scores with a jab.

Jonson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Drens's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jonson trying to control the position from guard on top but Drens is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jonson throws an elbow that misses. Drens uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jonson's guard. Nice move by Drens!
Jonson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Drens looking to sit in guard and control but Jonson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Drens preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Jonson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Jonson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Drens manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jonson has Drens in his guard.
Jonson is pulling down on Drens's head to control his posture.

Jonson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Drens is one step ahead there.
Jonson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Drens!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Drens tries to reverse the position but Jonson maintains control.

Jonson cracks Drens with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
