Sidorenko looks to clinch
and Ahdoodi counters with a left to the body.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sidorenko has eaten all the pies!

and Ahdoodi counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ahdoodi is chipping away with strikes.

It looks like Alexei Sidorenko has been cut.

Ahdoodi lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sidorenko down.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Alexei Sidorenko's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alexei Sidorenko's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ahmaid Ahdoodi!
After the fight, Ahmaid Ahdoodi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
