Makkonen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Little is fending him off so far but Makkonen persists. Nope, Little circles away and we're back to standing.
Makkonen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Makkonen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Little is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Makkonen has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Little knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Makkonen on the ground.

Makkonen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Little to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Little shrugs it off.

Makkonen goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Little turns into him and now he's in Makkonen's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Makkonen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Little is aware though and is defending well.

Makkonen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Little gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Little wants to stand but Makkonen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Makkonen has his foot on Little's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Little works his way back into a safe position though.
Little might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Makkonen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Little defends well.

Makkonen pushes a forearm under Little's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Little is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
