Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sova Borgia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnathan Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnathan Kang!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borgia throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kang counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kang looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A punch combination from Borgia misses.
Kang stuffs the takedown attempt from Borgia. Borgia gets slowly back to his feet.
A head kick from Borgia lands but Kang takes it in his stride.

It looks like Johnathan Kang has been cut.
Kang keeps the fight on the outside.
Borgia shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kang eats them both and turns towards Borgia to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Borgia fails with a takedown attempt.
Kang stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sova Borgia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kang circles away from the clinch attempt.

Borgia shoots in and gets a takedown into Kang's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Borgia wants to pass the guard but Kang is keeping the position.

Borgia is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Borgia's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Borgia is working for a kimura but Kang is defending it quite comfortably.

Borgia wants to stand but Kang has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Borgia throwing shots but Kang is blocking nicely.
Borgia wants to take a breather but Kang is having none of it.
It looks like Borgia is going to stand back up.
Borgia scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Borgia working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Borgia seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kang does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Borgia is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kang sees it coming and defends easily.

Borgia looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Borgia looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Borgia scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Kang is rocked!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kang is still in real trouble! Can Borgia finish him?
Borgia looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kang with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Borgia lands a big elbow - Kang is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Borgia!
