Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Botan Nishio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zoran Obradovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obradovic lands a jab to Nishio's midsection.
Nishio fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Obradovic avoids it really well and circles away.
Obradovic wants to clinch up but Nishio keeps it at a distance.
Obradovic turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Obradovic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nishio manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nishio thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Nishio is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Obradovic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Nishio shoots for a takedown but Obradovic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Obradovic wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Obradovic has closed the distance and engaged Nishio in a clinch.

Obradovic is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Nishio's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Nishio gets control of Obradovic's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nishio will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Zoran Obradovic wasn't active enough on the ground.
