El Gato shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
El Gato scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
El Gato cracks Sandres with a solid left hand.
El Gato wants to get up but he can't break Sandres's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
El Gato has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Sandres to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! El Gato is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Sandres pulls down on the head and he's put El Gato to sleep! This one is all over!
