Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adam Cummings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KT Turnstile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, KT Turnstile!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cummings.
Turnstile shoots in looking for a takedown. Cummings tries to sprawl out of it but Turnstile keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cummings manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Turnstile tries to clinch there but Cummings circles away.
Cummings fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Turnstile avoids it really well and circles away.
Turnstile has a takedown stuffed.

Turnstile closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cummings did well to prevent Turnstile getting side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cummings is trying to get back to full guard.
Turnstile wants to stand but Cummings has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Cummings is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Turnstile is trying to control the action in half guard but Cummings is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Turnstile wants to stand but Cummings is controlling his posture from full guard.

Cummings trying to control the position.
Cummings trying to strike off his back.
Cummings lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Turnstile!
Cummings throwing strikes here but Turnstile is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Turnstile holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Cummings tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Turnstile can't escape the position.

Cummings wants to control the pace but Turnstile is squirming around nicely.
Cummings throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Turnstile wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Cummings.
Cummings has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cummings looking to control but Turnstile is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Turnstile wants to hold on but Cummings pushes him away.

Cummings throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Turnstile because Cummings loaded up on that one.

Cummings moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Turnstile has worked his arm free - good work by Turnstile!
Turnstile is looking to regain half guard here but Cummings keeps moving and retains side control.
Cummings really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Cummings will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Cummings gets a clinch.

Turnstile escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cummings tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Turnstile paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cummings fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Turnstile avoids it really well and circles away.
Turnstile stuffs the takedown.

Turnstile bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Cummings takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Turnstile wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cummings keeps working.

Turnstile advances to mount.
Cummings is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Turnstile is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cummings to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cummings shrugs it off.

Turnstile looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Turnstile working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Cummings tries to reverse the position but Turnstile maintains control.

Turnstile looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Cummings wants to hold on but Turnstile pushes him away.

Cummings tries to lock up and control but Turnstile gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Turnstile is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Cummings will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Turnstile postures up and lands a big shot to Cummings's brow.

Turnstile seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Turnstile wants to pass the guard but Cummings is defending well.

KT Turnstile showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Cummings tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Turnstile manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cummings shoots for a takedown but Turnstile saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Cummings shoots in looking for a takedown but Turnstile manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cummings's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Cummings has hold of Turnstile's hands but Turnstile slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cummings is looking to control Turnstile's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cummings avoid being mounted?
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Turnstile in particular looking to stall.
Cummings gets back to full guard.
Turnstile stands up over Cummings, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Turnstile is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Cummings has a closed guard, preventing Turnstile from standing up.
Turnstile pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cummings is keeping the position for now.
Turnstile stays in close to Cummings's body and controls the position.
Turnstile wants to control from the top but Cummings keeps moving.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. KT Turnstile was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Turnstile shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cummings sprawls well. Cummings wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Turnstile gets slowly back to his feet.

Cummings is looking to clinch but Turnstile is avoiding it.
Turnstile throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cummings shoots in but Turnstile avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Turnstile fails with an attempt to clinch.
Turnstile shoots for a takedown but Cummings saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cummings scores with a jab to the body.
Cummings shoots in looking for a takedown but Turnstile manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cummings's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Cummings gets tackled into the cage by Turnstile. Turnstile maintains the clinch.

Cummings is fighting off a takedown attempt but Turnstile is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Cummings to the mat. Cummings regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Cummings is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Turnstile is controlling him.
Turnstile slips nicely into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Turnstile lands with a punch from half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cummings is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

And that's the end of the fight!
KT Turnstile comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Turnstile has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
