Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Riku Kurikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Riku Kurikka has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurikka lands with a straight right. Mason didn't see that one coming.
Donk. Kurikka catches Mason right on the button with a cross.
Kurikka cracks Mason with a right hand to the side of the head.
Kurikka scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
No joy there for Mason, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Donk. Kurikka catches Mason right on the button with a cross.
Kurikka is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Mason fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd cheers as Kurikka lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mason doesn't seem phased though.

Mason moves into the clinch.

Mason pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Riku Kurikka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurikka lands a nice shot that snaps Mason's head back.
Mason looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kurikka is fending him off so far but Mason persists. Nope, Kurikka circles away and we're back to standing.
Mason takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Mason is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Are you kidding me?! Kurikka ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Mason clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
