Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teller throws a series of punches but Rose avoids them all with ease.
A combination from Teller does no damage.
Rose fails with a takedown attempt.

and Rose moves into the clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Rose takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Rose on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rose tries to get out of the position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

That was a close round but I would say that Derrick Rose will probably get the nod.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Rose has gone for a leg lock! Teller slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rose's guard.

Rose is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Derrick Rose overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Teller throws an elbow that misses. Rose uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Teller's guard. Nice move by Rose!
