Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lisha Sure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Studebaker Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hawk's choice of entrance music: silver hawk. Studebaker Hawk is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Studebaker Hawk!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawk fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sure to the ground. Hawk is now in Sure's guard.
Sure working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hawk doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hawk manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hawk passes into half guard.
Sure knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hawk on the ground.
Hawk is working for a kimura but Sure is defending it quite comfortably.
Hawk trying to control the action but Sure is working from the bottom.
Sure trying to hold on to Hawk's head to control him but Hawk postures up.
Hawk is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hawk is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hawk seems to be looking for submissions.
Hawk is looking for a kimura here.
Hawk is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sure sees it coming and defends easily.
Hawk is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hawk has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sure defend it? Hawk steps over the head and cranks it - Sure is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hawk!
