Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, George Wolfee!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Freason as he jumps to the side.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wolfee.
Freason parries the strikes from Wolfee easily there. Wolfee is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Freason to escape.
Wolfee is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Freason wants to control but Wolfee postures up.
Wolfee is looking to take a break and control but Freason is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Freason's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Freason tries to escape but Wolfee is in control.

Freason is looking for a sweep.

Wolfee decides to stand up, so the ref orders Freason to his feet.
Wolfee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wolfee dives in and grabs Freason's left leg, looking for a takedown. Freason pushes down on Wolfee's head and hops out.
Freason is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wolfee sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Wolfee darts in and clinches Freason up against the cage.
Freason tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wolfee smiles and moves away.

Wolfee tries to close the distance and clinch but Freason swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wolfee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wolfee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Freason shoots in but Wolfee avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Freason drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Freason wants to stand but Wolfee has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wolfee had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Freason defends it easily.
Freason lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Wolfee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Freason, pushing him back against the cage.
Freason is trying to pull guard but Wolfee has him pressed against the cage.

Freason breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wolfee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Freason tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wolfee swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Freason is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wolfee gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Freason tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Wolfee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Freason tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Wolfee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wolfee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wolfee swats away the attempt to clinch by Freason.
Horrible takedown by Freason or perhaps it was just good defense by Wolfee which made him look bad.

Freason is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Freason accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Billy Bob Freason overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Freason shoots in looking for a takedown. Wolfee tries to sprawl out of it but Freason keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wolfee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Freason is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Billy Bob Freason will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Wolfee closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Freason did well to prevent Wolfee getting side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Freason works his way to full guard. Good work.
Freason seems keen to control Wolfee's posture.
Wolfee works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Freason wants to get back to full guard.
Freason pushes Wolfee off looking to stand but Wolfee dives back in and keeps control.
Wolfee uses his free foot to push down on Freason's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Freason.

Wolfee wants to finish this one by submission but Freason is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Wolfee.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Poor strikes thrown by Wolfee there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Freason tries to reverse the position but Wolfee maintains control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Billy Bob Freason showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Freason has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
