Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Louco Brutal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Toan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Louco Brutal had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Louco Brutal has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brutal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Toan swivels and escapes.
Louco Brutal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brutal fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Brutal misses with a takedown attempt
and Toan counters with a flying knee. Nice.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Louco Brutal. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Toan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Toan lands in his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Brutal has a closed guard, preventing Toan from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Johan Toan wasn't active enough on the ground.

Toan clinches up with Brutal and pushes him back against the cage.

Toan drags the fight down to the ground.

Toan is trying to stand up here but Brutal is controlling him well.

Brutal is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Toan is just riding it out for now. Brutal eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Brutal postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Toan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brutal, into his guard.

Toan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Johan Toan has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Toan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Brutal was covering up waiting for the punch and Toan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Toan wants to control from the top but Brutal keeps moving.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Toan is looking to stand up but Brutal won't let him.
Toan controlling from the top position.

Johan Toan has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Toan stuffs the takedown attempt from Brutal. Brutal gets slowly back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Toan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Louco Brutal has been cut.

Oooooh!!! Toan has knocked Brutal down with a huge combo! Toan steps away and waves a wobbly Brutal back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brutal gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
