The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackett misses with a two punch combination.
Sackett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dawson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sackett lands the left hand.
Dawson moves in looking to clinch but Sackett pushes him off.
Sackett drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dawson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sackett's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Dawson tries to roll over but Sackett keeps him under control.
Dawson has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Sackett. Oh but Dawson has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Sackett goes limp - he's gone! Dawson jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
