Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keni Farc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krzysztof Kulk!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farc shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kulk sprawls well. Kulk wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Farc gets slowly back to his feet.
Kulk shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Farc but Farc pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Farc fails with the takedown
so Kulk counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Farc is breathing heavily.
Kulk controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kulk throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kulk working some strikes from top position.
It looks like Keni Farc has been cut.
Kulk has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kulk lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Kulk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Farc preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kulk lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Kulk throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kulk scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Kulk with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kulk drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kulk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Farc escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kulk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kulk wants to control from the top but Farc keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kulk gets to his feet and stands over Farc, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Farc felt that one! Kulk unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Farc from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Krzysztof Kulk!
A relieved looking Krzysztof Kulk thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
